Theora
(Greek) means ‘watcher for God’

A
fabulous Goddess – watching over all the sea creatures. With her shield
and spear she is a gentle warrior trying to help those who care about
our wonderful sea life on planet Earth.
With
the colours and patterns of our fabulous New Zealand sea shell; paua
making her body, Theora is dressed in a 3 coloured tasseled skirt
decorated with NZ paua. Her breast plate is made of paua coloured beads
along with a matching head piece of which her long black hair cascades
out of.
Theora
has just risen out of the sea and has little bubbles of green and blue
sparkles from the ocean all over her. Around her waist a silver chain,
in one hand her shield and the other her spear. She has protection
plates on her feet held on with chains and decorated with paua shell
and beads. One bracelet on her wrist made from paua coloured beads and
a pewter necklace with paua inlay on a leather cord around her neck.
She
has a lovely face, strong and wise.
Her
head can be moved to suit, arms are moveable (wired) as are her
fingers. Her legs are in a fixed position.
Approx.
57cm (22 1/2”) – doll.
